Program Notes & Requirements
Participants must be a member of Western Cooperative Electric. The minimum requirements for a geothermal heat pump are a COP (Coefficient of Performance) of 3.3 and an EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) of 14.1 (closed loop) and a COP of 3.6 and an EER of 16.2 (open loop). Installation must be approved by a Western employee and dual-fuel units do not qualify for the rebate. The water heater rebate applies to 50 gallon units only. Rebates are available for residential ground source heat pumps and water heaters.
